Accurate Grade History

Accurate Grading 20 years ago would require multiple delays from hand measurements taken by the crew, bumped stakes, waiting for the surveying team to ensure or check the grade, and many other things. Long story short, information necessary to work towards the site goal took time to pass between folks on the job site. This slowed down the operation of the whole crew. Skilled drivers who could “feel" the grade were the only way, without consistent information, to achieve somewhat consistent results within tolerances of the job. Plus the final results of the job were never “exactly" accurate, rather within tolerances that ranged dramatically.

Things have definitely changed. Today’s accurate grading systems allow for operators to remain in the cab of their equipment all day and grade to within millimeter accuracy. Outside equipment (lasers or GPS systems) relay consistent, accurate grade information to the operators machine’s in LIVE TIME. Between the reference points generated, and the receiver in the machine, sniffing out the reference points, the accurate grade systems track your machines over their bumpy ride and supply information to the driver. This means that you as the contractor are getting more efficient work from your employees and equipment, which boils down to bottom line success! Faster job completion, more accurate results, no backfill or undercutting, more efficient employees and machines – It all boils down to the two things that make you successful;
     GETTING THE JOB DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME
          (ACCURATE GRADE)
      GETTING THE JOB DONE QUICKLY
          (FEWEST MAN & MACHINE HOURS)
